  • NTAA Update 
    The October monthly meeting will be held in Galveston during the TBFAA Convention. There will not be a meeting in the DFW area during October.  The November meeting will be held at the normal place and time on November 21st.   Please click on the calendar located on the NTAA website for the most current meeting and event information.

    10.22.13 – KERO 23 Bakersfield – The Bakersfield Police Department is raising concerns about the growing number of false alarm calls being received. More Info
  • MO: Coverage You Can Count On
    10.22.13 – KOMU Columbia – Columbia – Businesses and property owners that have security alarms could pay a fine if police have to respond too many times. The False Alarm Administrative Fee section of a city ordinance states that four false alarms from any alarm system in a 30 day period requires a $100.00 fee. More Info
  • PA: False alarm fines increase in Harrisburg

  • PA: Newtown Supervisors strengthen alarm ordinance

  • TX: Texas city delays alarm permit, citing problems with contractor
    10.28.13 – Security Systems News – Crowley, TX – Businesses and homeowners in Crowley, Texas, have until Nov. 1 to obtain permits for their monitored alarm systems. The city’s contractor had technical difficulties and missed the original Oct. 1 deadline. More Info
