The Oklahoma Level 1- Burglar & Limited Fire Alarm Course begins with several general topics including; overview of the industry, ethics, building construction, safety, law, standards & codes, general electricity & electronics, microprocessors, and tools. It continues to prepare you for system installations by covering; documentation (blueprints, etc), site survey, where to locate components, how to layout cabling, develop a job plan and organize work flow. Next we move to wire buildings including; securing the area ? drop cloths- safety cones, etc., pulling & securing the wire, roughing in device component locations and labeling wire and cable.Last we cover splicing and termination methods, steps for testing, troubleshooting and debugging, how to train users, as built documentation and maintenance & repair
