A Vivint Alarm sales representative going door-to-door in a Victorville neighborhood was robbed, officials said.
Officials said the incident happened at about 8:40 pm, on April 30, 2019, in the area of Reno Loop and Hook Blvd. within the community of Brentwood.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez told Victor Valley News the sales rep was selling alarm systems when a Black male approached him and demanded his cell phone and Ipad.
“The victim initially refused and ran but the suspect ran after him and told him he was going to shoot him if he did not give him the property. The victim saw what he believed may have been a gun and gave the suspect the property,” stated Rodriguez.
After taking the victim’s property, the suspect told the victim to run, which he did.
